I recently got accepted as an associate member of SFWA. Yep, that’s right. I’ve sold enough speculative fiction to be allowed in the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writer’s Association. Damn, I’ve written so many stories and spent countless hours working on the craft and submitting my fiction for publication—a lot of effort has gone into it for me to qualify for this. I’m proud to have reached this benchmark in my writing journey. If you want to learn more about SFWA and see if you qualify, check them out here. They have a great deal of resources for writers of all speculative genres and they support people on a variety of career paths, whether it’s self-publishing or traditional.
